The Ohio Educational Credit Union (OECU) is proud to announce that it has expanded its teller branch network to include 255 branches in Ohio and over 4,000 across the United Sates through its partnership with CU Service Centers® Shared Branching network.*
Shared branching is a network of credit unions throughout the United States that “share” their participating branches with each other. As a member of OECU, you can use any other participating credit union’s branch, identified by the Shared Branching “Swirl” to perform teller transactions for your OECU accounts.
The specific transactions available at the shared branches include:
- Deposit Cash or Checks (including cash back if funds are available)
- Withdrawals (cash or checks)
- Check Cashing (subject to available funds in your account)
- Loan Payments
- Transfer Between Accounts (within your membership)
- Print Statements
- Purchase money orders**
- Purchase traveler’s checks**
- Purchase official checks**
Receiving service at a shared branch is very easy. To find a shared branch location near you, visit www.cuservicecenter.com, call 1-800-919-CUSC (2872) and enter your location’s zip code or street address or download GPS data for your navigation device. |

To be serviced at a shared branch you must provide the teller three items.
- Our Credit Union name
“Ohio Educational Credit Union”
- Your member number
- A valid government-issued photo I.D., such as a state driver’s license or U.S. passport
All transactions are real time, will contain the most recent information on your membership accounts and are subject to the same fees as if you performed the transaction at one of our own branches.
The services that are not available through the shared branches are related to taking loan applications, opening of deposit and loan accounts, and problem resolutions. These functions must be performed directly by an OECU employee through our branch network, website or telephone.
